Lithium–Manganese-Rich Layered Oxides Cathode Powder

Lithium-manganese-rich layered oxides are of great importance as cathode materials for rechargeable lithium batteries. It is a solid solution, which shows a specific capacity of more than 250mAh/g between 2~ 4.8V with good cycling performance. The material is mainly based on cheap manganese with less cobalt and nickel. Compared with lithium cobalt oxide and nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary transition metal oxide, it is low-cost but maintains good safety characteristics.
